Erik Antonson

Patent Agent

Erik has been working in Intellectual Property since 2003, first as a technical advisor and as a registered patent agent since 2010. Erik joined Advent in 2011.

In his role at Advent, Erik focuses primarily on patent drafting, prosecution, and searching, in a wide range of technology areas, including e-commerce, computer networking and web technologies, security, mobile devices, data collection and storage, analytics, point of sale, computer hardware and software, algorithms, integrated circuits, telecommunications, human interface devices, industrial control systems, oil and gas technologies, chemical analysis systems, biotechnology, electrical power generation and storage, medical devices, food science, and the mechanical arts.

Prior to working in Intellectual Property, Erik worked as a mechanical design engineer for Raytheon Aircraft Integration Systems (AIS) in Waco, Texas, in Boeing Business Jet commercial programs and EP-3E MSA Navy programs.
