As part of his academic background, Dan studied chemical engineering and developed technical expertise with global innovation companies during several internship programs. He became fascinated with the innovative spirit fostered at academic and industry institutions, which led him to patent law. Dan joined ADVENT in 2013 and draws inspiration from the technical community.
Dan enjoys spending time with his children while they still tolerate his antics. He is a runner and finds pleasant solitude and discipline during long distance runs — until they also provide an injury — in which case he has learned patience and value in re-defining goals and working as a team with his wife.
