Kristy Marvel
Intellectual Property Paralegal
Kristy is an Intellectual Property Paralegal at ADVENT. She has been a paralegal since 2008 and has extensive IP experience working in law firms and in-house legal departments. Since joining the ADVENT team in 2018, Kristy has partnered in managing patent portfolios to help ensure the highest degree of client service. She has expertise in patent preparation, prosecution, and filing support, in addition to supporting business development.
Kristy has had the opportunity to work in different geographical areas of the US. She started her IP career at a small IP Firm in Seattle, WA. Kristy then moved to Dallas, TX where she worked at a large IP firm and eventually transferred to an in-house IP Paralegal position. Kristy and her husband are native to the Omaha area and are very excited to be here to raise their daughter near family.
